Mielikki

Mielikki is the Finnish Goddess of the forest, a quiet guardian of wild places, healing and the unseen balance of nature. She is associated with growth that happens slowly and softly – roots beneath the soil, moss on bark, and mushrooms appearing in stillness after rain. This sculpture is inspired by Mielikki’s gentle presence, with mushrooms symbolising renewal, connection and the hidden networks that support all life. She was thought to often gift mushrooms and berries as gifts of survival, speaking to her protective nature and patience for allowing others to ground themselves.

Each resin God or Goddess sculpture is unique and handmade by myself. Small imperfections such as air bubbles/small chips are normal and to be expected. Please keep sculptures out of direct sunlight as this can tint the resin yellow over time.
