Dionysus

Dionysus is the Greek Goddess of wine, ecstasy and liberation – a force of wild joy, chaos and sacred release. This 9cm sculpture draws on his playful, untamed spirit, with the magpie appearing as a symbol of curiosity, duality and mischief, a bird drawn to shine and contradiction. Clever and bold, the magpie mirrors Dionysus’ nature: balancing light and shadow, order and abandon, reminding us that freedom is found where instinct is honoured and life is fully tasted.

Each resin God or Goddess sculpture is unique and handmade by myself. Small imperfections such as air bubbles/small chips are normal and to be expected. Please keep sculptures out of direct sunlight as this can tint the resin yellow over time. This figure is slightly discounted due to a small chip on the right peck.
